because NBA fans were tuned to the news channels getting updates on Trump being hospitalized. Some how I don't think the people who watch NBA give a damn about Trump's health. Most laughed at his arse.

It was low because the series was over. If the heat make it 2-2 people will watch it again.

Wait until he sees the numbers from last night,
last night's 1st episode of 60 minutes had more than twice the viewers than the NBA game drew. Then the second episode beat the NBA game by 30%.

quote:

ABC telecast of Game 3 of the NBA Finals (1.5, 4.08M) from the bubble in Orlando was off a tenth from Friday night’s Game 2 and seven tenths from Game 1 last Wednesday

quote:

CBS’ night included a double helping of 60 Minutes, delivering a 2.0 in the demo and 11.23 million viewers. A second special (0.7, 5.80 million) dipped from there

i think the more interesting story is just that no one is watching tv

pretty sure the only sport or program maintaining ratings somewhat is the nfl? maybe someone can correct me if i a wrong but it feels like tv ratings are just down ...on everything

I’ve been watching but the whole bubble thing is getting old. It’s the finals! The least they can do is put them in an empty Orlando Magic arena with a artificial fan noise and lighting.

Good. People should be more focused on the country's political situation than watching a bunch of dudes dribbling a basketball.

With the audience spread across 18 games rather than two, no MLB Wild Card game came close to last year — but the numbers were not bad.

Yankees-Indians was the top draw of the MLB Wild Card round (pending Friday’s results), averaging 2.59 million viewers for Game 1 Tuesday night and 2.54 million for Game 2 on Wednesday. The games aired opposite a presidential debate and Game 1 of the NBA Finals, respectively.

was better than I expected

I haven’t watched a single game of the playoffs. Just haven’t had any interest.
