Getting away from 2 of the worst run organizations in the sport certainly helps.

Glad he’s kicking arse. Awesome to see. The Jets ruin everyone.

Cousins looked like arse before he landed in Minnesota
He was at worst a Top 10 QB for his last 3 seasons in WAS

He's always had the talent, just needs a good situation. He's not going to lift others, but in a place like Minnesota he doesn't have to.

I think the downside of that is that means he’ll always be replaceable and a product of what’s around him, atleast until he shows that success elsewhere or in slightly less fortunate of a situation by that same token

I’d be very reluctant to be the team who gets to pay high dollar for Darnolds services

Seems like a popular take here that Darnold is just fixed now and people are down with throwing a bunch of money at him to be a starter. But in the same regard his earlier situations hindered the ability to see his talents flourish, being in such a great situation can also be miraging a better image of the type of QB he would be in most situations

You can be a starter in this league with that profile, but hard to bank on that as a long term franchise QB if you have to ensure everything around him is great to have success

I don't think is a fluke and he was in terrible situations before. But I also think he is on a great team also right now. He missed a couple of easy throws in the 4th qtr against Green Bay that should have been routine that could have kept that game from ever getting close.

My two cents is a selfish/bias two cents and I wish Burrow could have someone like KOC or Andy Reid calling his shots. He’s putting up video game numbers with a joke organization, currently.

Is there another situation in the NFL where the organization is solid, there are offensive pieces in place, good coaching, just a QB away? That should be Darnold's destination.

Going to another crap situation just to get paid will result in him being out of the league in three years.

It's in his and the Vikings best interest for him to resign there at a bit of a team discount.
