Feel for the dude, but then again he’s getting around $20m guaranteed to be a punching bag and have no expectations.

Just ride the wave bro. Save your money as well

A friend of mine I use to play high school ball with worked him out leading up to the Draft. David Morris at Qb Country in Mobile. Yesterday he gave an interview on local radio talking about how happy he was for him and yet the internet world is laughing its ads off at Jones. We are brutal man lol. David was the backup to Eli at Ole Miss. Another tie in to the Mannings. It's not just Cutcliffe. David is a good friend of Eli.

Usually,it’s an overreaction after one game. But if the guy hasn’t played a down, that’s just mob mentality. I hope he does well so these people can eat crow.

Just a pitiful pick by Giants. New York will chew him up and spit him out. Giants will stay bad for another 5 years

Lets be real, probably 95% of Giants fans did not watch a Duke football game last year. More definitely watched Ohio State games but still far from a majority. Most of the backlash towards the kid is straight groupthink

It’s a “we need attention because we’re New York” mentality. They’re trying to hijack the pity party narrative now that the Browns and Jets don’t make outrageous picks. They did that with Kristaps and he turned out pretty well. Bunch of attention whores in the so-called “national” media.

SVP said it best.. Daniel Jones lost his last ACC game(at home) to Wake Forrest 59-7.... I know it’s a team sport but holy shite

SVP can put up stats and angles all the want. Heck, Tom Brady was Drew Henson backup at one point. Does that mean brady couldn’t cut it in the nfl? Peyton Manning got blown out by the Seahawks in the SB. So did Elway in his younger years.

The only question forward is if Jones will be a good QB going forward.

While that is funny and all that’s still a garbage take.

This sounds like a 30 for 30 - especially if he wins a ring. It's rare to see a high draft pick be unequivocally hated by everyone. In a way it's actually going to help him succeed.

Anyone drafted by the Giants these days is set up to fail.

Gone in like 4 years with ACL injuries at like 7'3" and a rape charge. It's a miracle the Knicks got what they did for him

I mean I’m not pulling for anyone to fail but even if this guy blows up this was a retarded move by the giants. They could have traded back or done anything differently to get this cat if that’s who they wanted.
