$25M to Floyd, $25M to CM. Let the two then negotiate how the split for the PPV goes.

Come on Dana, you're talking about a guy whose biggest purse to date is $3M. Against a guy who routinely brings in $100M.

Offer Floyd $47M and CM $3M, Floyd would still say no because that's chump change to him.

PPV goes majority to Fllyd due to his draw.

But as far as splitting the 50M, winner gets 30, loser gets 20.

So, that has nothing to do with their value. It has to do with the mechanics of the sport.

Conor would bring as many buys as FMM if not more.

Also this isnt true...

Well, Dana is definitely a better negotiator than you are.

$3 million is his biggest purse. He's been paid way more including PPV points though

Why should Floyd get top dollar for what is clearly a stunt match? It's not like he has any chance of losing. Hell, he probably won't even take a single clean punch. A joke of a bout should not earn equal to his biggest paydays.

I'm not saying it should equal his biggest pay day. Hell I'm not even saying it should equal $50M. But if anyone thinks Floyd is going to take the same amount of money that CM gets, not even bringing the PPV money into it, is out of their mind.

In Dana's own words, "Connor is the draw in the fight because Floyd's last fight performance was so bad".

You're equally out of your mind if you think Conor accepts a 47/3 split.

It was used as an example. Calm down breaux, you're getting your CM panties in a bunch.

Conner actually kind of is the draw b/c nobody wants to see Floyd fight his typical overmatched or past his prime opponent. We all know he won't be willing to go up against anyone that has a shot at putting a blemish on his record. The only reason the bout would be on anyone's radar is the weirdness of Floyd going up against a big mouthed MMA guy.

That said, I'm still not going to waste any money on a boring arse Floyd fight. I might find a stream b/c of the weirdness of it all but I'm not ever wasting cash on a glorified FM sparring match.

In fact, they may as well call this fight The Great White Hype 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Dana White needs to pick up a few pointers about "The Art of the Deal" from his buddy Donald Trump.

I would agree. The state of the two sports currently plays a lot into it as well. Floyd will never see it as such though, and we all know he would never accept an equal pay for this fight. So offering such a deal is a waste of everyone's time and is .

White makes a proposal we know isn't realistic, you say he's out of his mind.

You make a proposal we know is equally unrealistic, and I need to calm down because I got my CM(red) panties in a bunch?

Welp, there goes this thread.

Would Floyd even walk to his own refrigerator for $25 mil?

Floyd's typical guarantee is $32M so offering 25 isn't a terrible starting point. The issue would be the PPV split because that's where Floyd usually makes hay being his own promoter but I'm assuming the UFC would want to be cut in on that along with Conor and Floyd.
