They only allow up to 5 point teaser on CBB. I think it is up to 7 on football.

Futures aren’t about right or wrong. They’re about value, and then hedging that value when able to guarantee profit.

150-1 vs 50-1 is the difference of hedging instantly in the tournament or having to let it ride to the S16 or E8

Ah. Yessir, the thought isn’t that I am going to win 15k, but that I have 15k in a future bet to play with bigly to ensure profit (about as big as it gets for long shot odds when it was clearly off).

It is essentially a bet that they get far enough into the tourney that, yes, you start betting on their opponents once they become underdogs (or small favorites).
For someone just looking to turn $500 profit on the bet, there’s a LOT of wiggle room if they get to the Sweet Sixteen. Of course, hedging gets more expensive as they move on, but 15k is a pretty damned solid start to hedge for $500 (or more).

Going to be playing on mostly free bets this week. Got 6 $10 and 2 $25 free bets on DK and 1 $25 and 1 $10 free bet on MGM. Withdrew all the rounded $100s from every account as last week was finally that bad week. So have small change in all the accounts to just play tiny plays now

Did anyone get the boost to +100 tonight for UCLA to win? Was sent to me in an email. Current odds for UCLA money line are -1500. Max bet of $25.

At +5000 you have to be VERY careful on when you start, because hedging grows VERY expensive.
At +15000, you can almost start from Round of 64 and ensure profit.
For those of y’all new to futures, particularly basketball ones, here’s a great article explaining it (and why 150/1 odds on LSU two weeks ago was nuts).
