Dabo Swinney is turning out to be this generation's version of Bobby Bowden

Same explosive offenses. Same consistent dominance. Both men are deeply christian, very charismatic and are from the state of Alabama. Hopefully for Dabo's sake, Venables doesn't turn out to be his Richt with his teams falling off the cliff when he leaves for a head coaching job.

It helps that dabo is playing in the ACC. Had he been in the SEC he wouldn't be making the playoffs every year

The SEC has sucked lately. Dabo would be doing fine in the SEC. He would kill it at bama.
