D Wade is magnificent but saying that you would take him because he is shorter and does less may be the dumbest thing I have ever heard

where did I say I'd take him "because of his height"? I was making a point against someone saying that Lebron is better because he is so huge & does the things he does. So get off of Bron's nuts, & realize that Flash is a better OVERALL player.

kobe because he has the most experience and when he is shooting the ball well, he is easily the best player in the nba. oh yea he is also the most clutch player in the league

Blocking shots isn't exactly playing defense. The fact that LeBron can guard pretty much every teams 1-4 and some teams 1-5. Wade is pretty much limited to most teams 1-3 therefore LeBron is not only a better defender he also has more versatility defensively. Advantage LeBron. LeBron also scores more. Rebounds better and is a much better passer. I just don't see how someone could make a really solid argument for Wade being better.

I am pretty sure Lebron has led the league in clutch stats since entering it.
I know the myth of him not being clutch is out there, but he definitely is.
Anyone who woud not take Lebron is an idiot. Versatility easily separates him from the other two.

lebron is clutch but no way i would take him over kobe for the final shot in a game. kobe ftw LINK

Clutch stats
I bet they conveniently leave off Kobe's earlier championship years.

Well those stats are only for the 09-10 season, which is obviously one of Kobe's weaker ones

the fact that people think wade is actually better is laughable.

Wade is pretty impressive, with his quickness and all but I hate how he always has ghost injuries in the playoffs, when they're losing. He winces in pain from an injury that never seemed to occur.. then announcers are like "wow he's playing hurt!! buy his jersey!' Sometimes it seems to staged.
lebron is a freak, in that has point guard speed and passing ability, 2-guard scoring ability, and is still beastly enough to play on the post.
Sometimes Lebron goes on vacation as far as help-defense goes, which is annoying.
Lately, Kobe has been the best all-around team player, IMO. The rape incident seems to have given him a sense of humility.
I'll go with Kobe.

And nowadays, he doesn't shoot the ball well all that often, so...

To be fair, I think his shooting woes are more related to his injuries than it is him slowing down.
Let him get healthy and his shooting percentage will definitely go back up again.

A slightly fractured finger doesn't take almost 5 months to get better.

Oh, I completely agree.
it's just a silly statement to say he's the best when he's shooting well since Lebron always shoots a higher % then him. And that's not even taking into account every other aspect of the game.

at this point in their careers, i don't see how anyone can say either of these 2 is better than lebron. the only things kobe do better than lebron are back to the basket offense and foul shooting. all wade has is foul shooting.

Nobody can and be taken seriously. Any reasonable and objective person can see Lebron the best player in the NBA by a pretty significant margin. Not that Kobe and D-Wade aren't all-time greats, but Lebron is just on different planet right now. I don't know much about all these new PER type stats, maybe somebody who does can back me up. But I'd imagine there's fewer than 5 people in the history of the world who ever played at the level Lebron is playing at right now. Jordan, Wilt, Oscar...?

I'd even go as far as saying Wade is a more skilled basketball player then Lebron, but Lebron adds the physical freak aspect to the equation and you have to go with Lebron IMO.

It's led to arthritis in his knuckle and it was reported a few days ago that he now needs knee surgery on his degenerative knee, ala Michael Jordan towards the end.
