I'm guessing Maddon goes:

1. CF Fowler
2. RF Heyward
3. 3B Bryant
4. 1B Rizzo
5. LF Schwarber
6. DH Soler
7. 2B Zobrist
8. C Montero
9. SS Russell

WTF??? I have been a Cubs fan since the early 70's... My dream WS was dashed by the Padres back in 1984...

Hadn't paid much attention to spring lineups. Was Bryant hitting third a lot? 6-8 is pretty interchangeable

Madden said Fowler and Heyward are 1-2. He also said basically Rizzo will be four and Bryant and Zobrist will either be 3 or 5 depending on the day.

I'm leaning toward over, but not sure how diehard Angels fans are.

The Angels have strong fan base but there's a lot of East coast and Midwest transplants that live in Orange County as well

That's a tough call.... Probably over... I just don't see any fans in the country that follow baseball that don't like the Cubs. Except St. Louis or Pittsburgh... You going????

Maddon talked about stats showing the number three hitter bats with nobody on and two outs a lot so why put your best hitter there

At one point last year we were like 17-0 when Coghlin hit 3rd.

Don't doubt Maddon.

Isn't the theory that the best hitter should hit second? I like Heyward there followed by Bryant and Rizzo. There should be a lot of opportunities for early runs with that top four.

I'm biased, but that lineup should mash. Hopefully the rookies don't have a sophomore slump.
