Alabama - it’s not the CFP loss to Clemson it the magnitude of the loss. A strong rebound year is important to reinforce the notion that if you’re a 5 star recruit and want a championship go to the tide.

Georgia- the recruiting success needs to be backed up with on the field production. They got so good so fast the need to solidify themselves as a legitimate alternative to Alabama.

Texas - a lot of hype going into this season with the bowl win. I think it’s a mirage.

Michigan- this year or its over

OSU- with Meyer gone they need to prove to recruits that they are the one northern alternative championship level option.if they falter the big 10 is done.

Agree.

If he doesn't get it done this year, when will he?

You know only one team wins the national title every year right?

They're literally a couple Alabama miracles away from a national title and a 2nd straight playoff appearance

I mean why aren’t OU and Clemson in this list too?

For Texas and Michigan I’d say yes based on their investments in their current coaches, but the other three. Nah.

Because they have the fewest obstacles in there way this year to reach the final 4. Both have very easy paths. They also have the most wins outside Bama the past 10 years

You think finishing second in the country needs a “rebound year”. Ha!

I do not see it being over for Michigan if they do not win it all this year. If they beat Ohio State it will have been a great year.

The Big Ten will not be done even if Ohio State lost every game. There are too many good schools in that conference for them to be done. Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State...

Harbaugh has to only go 9-3 and he will still have a job and the attention of fans and national media.

LSU - best team in awhile, can they get over Bama hump
Oklahoma - can they finally field a decent defense
Texas - are they really back this time

Michigan has moved ahead of cal-Berkeley as #1 public university.

They will still be relevant at 9-3.
