2. That’s a qualifier you hadn’t put on that statement until your third post about it.

Holy sh!t, the amount of apologist Jessica Mendozas based upon the upvote/downvote & comments in this thread is appalling. So many posters that appear MLB fans, yet have a blatant disregard for the truth, and honor of the greatest game.

But, I expect Manfred to do a coverup, puss out taking on the Player's Union in getting to the absolute bottom of this epic scandal, and try bury it instead of doing the right thing. Just like Selig, Stern, NFL Commishes, etc..always have "for the good of the game" in their scandals that could be mitigated publically.

You folks really need to read Plaschke's article from yesterday.

Crane is a great owner. Astros fans are lucky to have him.

This thread is weird.

It’s kind of like watching an Alabama Fan chastise Baylor or some mid-major about a recruiting violation or paying players.

Well dumbshit, this is the fricking "more sports board", the ENTIRETY of which is people talking about "famous" people who have no fricking clue who anybody on this board is.

You are a genius, you have it all pegged.

Half of OPs post was inflammatory names for someone he doesn't know. That's not talking. That's being overly consumed by something that doesn't (or shouldn't) have that much impact on your life, unless you are someone involved in sports.

The fact that anyone even thinks that's normal is sad. It's as sad as anyone praising the guy who started all of this by coming out about the cheating, all the while knowing he had benefited from it. Has he even acknowledged that he benefited from it? Or did it really not have an impact on them winning the World Series?

I just find this whole thing comical. Let's keep things in context, people. We are talking about a GAME! So getting upset and calling people names over a GAME is getting a bit too serious.

Never could understand how the words "forced" and "apology" could sit next to each other in the same sentence.

The Astros players will not apologize according to Scott Boras.

quote:

“You installed this. You put this in front of us. Coaches and managers encourage you to use the information. It is not coming from the player individually. It is coming from the team. In my stadium. Installed. With authority."

"The reality of it is that the apology from the people who had notice ... that who the apology should come from."
