I don’t like Tom Brady at all, but this is unfair for you to say with such certainty

But it’s the internet, so……

Maybe...HC isn't for everyone. The assumption in this case was probably that the Bucs merely needed a HC who stayed in his lane and get out of Brady's way -- unlike a Bruce Arians.

Todd Bowles is a solid football guy and person. Probably best as an asst coach.

TB's coaching staff chemistry just wasn't very good or on the same page. Brady was usually counted on to be the team "glue" of sorts. Except this year he did the opposite; as a result of his personal distractions, Brady was seen constantly sulking, losing his focus, and failing to inspire his teammates. His uneven play all year made any coaching shotcomings appear much worse.

I really don't know what teams are thinking giving HC jobs to retreads. Allen, Bowles, McDaniels all disasters

The thought process here is in believing pst Asst Coach success automatically presumes HC success. HC is a totally different animal.

And don’t forget, he skipped more than half (I think) of the teams training camp.. most people here said that wouldn’t matter… it most certainly did. This ain’t madden

Spot on observation.

And then he also took off and dared anyone to stop him from attending Robert Kraft's wedding. That makes two bad signals sent to the team.

People are acting like Brady was terrible. He had a decent year. Team was just mediocre.

Brady was getting rid of the ball so fast all year cause he didn't really trust his O-line.

can't blame him.

the left tackle Donovan Smith isn't very good.

The biggest argument for Tampa is probably scheduling. The Bucs play in the easiest division (NFC South) and next year the second easiest division (AFC South) rotates onto their schedule. They also play the Bears and Lions at home. Of course things can change rapidly in the NFL from season to season but that is 12 games versus some serious inemptitude above.

In contrast the Raiders will play: Chiefs (twice), Chargers (twice), Patriots, Jets, Packers, Vikings, Steelers, Giants, Dolphins, Bills. That's 12 very losable games for a 46 year old QB in a new environment.

He should call his own plays.

Coordinators always go first when the owner gives the HC an ultimatum. HC will be gone after next year.

Tampa is more than an OC away. Old/bad roster with few young talent and little draft compensation.

All reports this morning are Brady is gone.
