I've been saying the same. I think it has hurt more than it's helped in the grand scheme, unless Sean is playing the long game with it for some trickery in the playoffs.

Tebow isn’t blocking any punts

I say yes, Tebow could have been a similar player with different running style. Obviously more of a power runner than speed. Talent wasn't the issue with him, he certainly had the talent to be on a roster. It was the media circus that nobody wanted to touch. Everybody calling for him to start at QB, media constantly asking about the 3rd string QB would be a coach's worst nightmare.

Tebow could have made a damn good TE. Unless he can't catch

Lamar Jackson about to pull a Tebow and win a playoff game. Taysom wouldn’t be as effective playing every down

When you are running the inverted wishbone it does.

If it makes you feel better, it still makes no sense to run the inverted wishbone when you have drew brees at QB

Short yardage situations it’s a great option vs getting our HOF QB crushed on a keeper. Also sets up trickeration to keep the defense honest.
Hill had a huge 1st down run on the TD drive last night that kinda sparked the running game the next few plays. He’s got an intangible quality to make huge plays at times.

Tebow had that too and absolutely could have been used similarly for a team if he wanted to. Line up at RB, QB, TE...run read options and the like. He’s not as fast but make no mistake, Tebow had talent. He’s still the best college player I’ve ever seen live.

Brees ain't especially lighting it up right now. Gives the team a spark to change it up.

I think Taysom Hill is giving Jalen Hurts a road map to the NFL. They seem like the exact same to me
