We are spoiled AF to have him come to campus for his last time in the head gear! Got to go to GameDay as a student three times as a student and many more for bowl games! Thank you Corso for the memories!

Only to you. It's fitting that he is ending it where it began and there is no bigger game that day.

While I get them going to Columbus, FSU would’ve made sense as well given the connections. Also because Fox has this game and ABC has the Bama/FSU game. Both choices would’ve made sense.

You mean to tell me he’s not coming to a 2-10 FSU from last year play a Bama team that finish 9-4. Even with the connections that would have a boring AF game!

The only reason they would’ve done it is because he played there. I’m not arguing with you.

issues with this post

1) you missed the news a couple months back

2) you didn’t read the thread

3) you didn’t read the title of the thread

4) even without all of that your question makes 0 sense in context of what you’re asking.

5) you’re an idiot

There were 3 games that day that all would have been fitting: Texas @ Ohio State, Bama @ Florida State, or LSU @ Clemson

Ohio State, Bama, and LSU have been Corso's 3 most frequent headgear picks.

FSU is his alma mater and they could have brought him out on the field to be honored pregame.

Ohio State being where the headgear pick tradition was born.

LSU vs Clemson is ESPN's marquee prime time game that weekend, so you could have gotten a segment during the game for Corso to join Fowler and Herbie in the booth.

The only knock against going to Columbus is that its Fox's Big Noon Kickoff so you'll have competing pregame shows both broadcasting from the OSU campus. Though I'm guessing the BNK crowd will be a little light since most fans are going to go to where ever Gameday is setup to watch Corso's send off.

Will be a good sendoff

Herbstreit will definitely be crying through it as he’s been his crutch on the show for a few seasons now

He won’t be the only one. Corso has been a staple for 30 years.
