So you don't think they sould win a 1st round game?????

Because if you win in the 1st round then you are only 1 win away from the sweet 16. I would say that is pretty close.

Clemson - contender
Wake - contender
Mizzou - contender
LSU - Depends on Seed and Health
Kansas - contender

Butler - depends on matchup, tough out for anyone

Well I said yesterday that I think they might win a first round game. But I think it stops there. I haven't seen Butler play. The zags only once. So I am going by name recognition only.

Not your typical Butler or Zags teams this year. I think they have talent, just not getting it down.

Depending on who the Tigers draw in the 2nd I could see it stopping there, but there are a number of teams that they could legitimately face in the 2nd that I think they can take.

That could happen. I just have a big problem with the eggs LSU layed when they played out of conference. I mean they got run.

I would say all of these are pretenders except Kansas and maybe LSU or Gonzaga. Wake and Clemson are really talented but are undisciplined as frick. Dook might be a contender depending on their seed.

Agreed, but that was early on. They are playing much better with almost a full season under Trent.

Yeah i saw Memphis kick their arse
But they also almost beat UConn, they are a schizophrenic team. Memphis will avenge last year's disgrace BTW.

I agree with all of these except Mizzou. Because Mike Anderson will be named the head coach of Alabama before the Big 12 tourney

That's what I hear. But like you said, they still lost. And they can't afford to do that come tournament time. They have to break throuhg. I just don't seem them doing it.

Very disappointed in Xavier losing at Charlotte last night.Upsets happen and Charlotte generally has a pretty good team, but they don't really this year.

With that said, sure LSU could lose in the first round, but to not even consider LSU as a pretender is nuts.

I remember the A&M game being close until the end as well. Did I make that up in my head?
