Tulane is definitely going to a bowl. I’m hearing Boca Raton or Frisco. Boca would be great for fundraising purposes

With 40 plus bowls they won’t be enough 6-6 teams

I want them to make a bowl, I grew up pulling for them(Roch Hontas and Reginelli) and was in the Dome vs La Tech in 1998 for 11-0. Just wasn't sure they'd get an invite.

There will be more than enough 6-win teams. Some will get left out.

Which bowl will invite them? Not every team with 6 wins gets an invite.

AAC has 7 bowl affiliates (Birmingham, Gasparilla, Boca Raton, Frisco, Cure, Military, Armed Forces) and 2 conditionals (Independence, Liberty). Don’t forget that UCF gets in the NY6 if they beat Memphis.

AAC has 7 eligible with SMU playing at Tulsa as they only other team with a chance. Odds are extremely high every AAC team gets in that qualifies this year.

Possibly. I was at yulman. Glad it’s safe over here.

Oh, shite. I forgot about the Bayou Classic. Now my post will be read in a way that was completely unintended. Oh well, you knew what I meant.

I was at that game. Big thing that sticks out in my mind is the student section was behind the visitors bench. A group of students led by a white guy with an Afro wig would pick one player on the other team and heckle him the entire game. It was the Tech kicker, Wierick. He eventually lost his temper and threw a football at Pecker....and missed.

I hope not. Tech would get clobbered

I'm pulling for the Bahamas bowl or Hawaii so everyone just kinda forgets we exist until next season.

Just turn down the bid.

We took Wake to overtime with Banks. That's the 7th win right there.

Big difference is McMillan doesn't take as many sacks. Announcers a few weeks ago put up a graphic with the numbers.
