If you think RP being in there instead of AH isn't the main reason we won that game, then you don't know a fricking thing about football.

I said I dont think he won the game for us, not saying Hatch would have done better or worse. I think the Defense won that game for us. My opinion is you dont know a fricking thing about football, but hey opinions are like assholes.

what exactly did RP do that was so instrumental in LSU winning the 07 NC?

Without him, I doubt we would have won the SEC championship game.

Sorry, just one more thing from above, defense made the game 14-14. If you take out RP's 20 of 25 273 yards and a TD. Tenn would have beaten us in OT b/c you know how great Miles and LSU were in OT that year

if you can't admit that he helped lsu win a championship in 2007, you are fricking clueless.

It wasn't like he only played in the SECCG either.

He helped lsu win all the games he played in.

The difference is that my opinion is supported by your stupidity, whereas your opinion is supported only by you talking out of your arse.

How do you know this?

...and RP was one of the main reasons we made it the NC game in '07. I was sad to see him go...but don't blame his frick ups on the coach.

You people amaze me wit stupidity. Miles' only fault was giving that dude a scholarship. You are stupid to believe that we wouldnt have had another capable qb backing up flynn n a year we were picked to win. IMO miles gave him too many chances and left us wih young raw qbs cus he put all is eggs in one basket.

he gets blamed for everything else, why not RP??

frankly if RP does well, then I'll be happy for him, but if I never hear of him again, no big deal either...

Patch,

I'm sure you will be/are a great father, and your kids will not grow up to be as undisciplined as RP. But die hard LSU fans are not happy, nor will they be happy for RP. He cost us two seasons of not having a good, experienced QB because he couldn't understand the one simplest objective required of him; Just don't be stupid!

I can admit he helped LSU win that game. All I am saying, is he wasnt the reason for it, meaning that is was possible that some other player may have been able to do the things he did. Secondly, most of the games he played in throughout the year would have been W regardless of him. Tech and Mid Tenn to name a couple. He also had a couple of games where he was a wrinkle in the offense, im saying those werent the REASON we won those either.

RP was a solid player when he was here, he just wasnt worth the headache that came with him. That's why he wa let go and that's why he got suspended at Jack. St. I hope the kid does turn his life around, he wont though. I am just saying that he owes a lot more to LSU than LSU owes to him. He had his chance.
