Answer me this, what exactly did RP do that was so instrumental in LSU winning the 07 NC? I will stop talking shite about you if you can just answer that question. Be specific to.

It's not. He was MVP of the 2007 SECCG, a win that not only gave us our 10th SEC Championship, but propelled us to our 3rd National Championship. Do you think we beat Tennessee starting Andrew Hatch???

Get off the guy, he deserves our appreciation FOREVER just based on that one game.

Sure, I'll answer that. Instead of playing in the cap 1 bowl or somethingto that effect, he help get us to play a shifty Ohio State team and we were able to blow them out.

We did... then he got what he deserved. Stop making excuses for RP, everything that happened was his fault.

Miles did not teach him anything, otherthan how to repremand him.

Miles is there to coach them football and to make them tough and teach discipline, and if the players aren't on board, then there is not place for them on the team. he was given more than enough opportunities at LSU.

The people who hate on RP are the same people who are still pissed that Mcknight went to USC. It's truly pathetic & weak.

Best of luck in the league RP.

That is a reasonable response. I wont say that he won the game for us. He did play very well in the game, but remember we scored one defensive TD and only scored one offensive TD. So he obviously didnt help the O that much.

Patch, he played all of about 6 plays against OSU. To even think he was the reason for that being won, is not only assinine but just holds my argument that you have no idea what you are talking about.

With both of those said, I will NEVER feel any gratitude to a POS player who puts himself over the team because he was a total punk. He hasnt changed and will never change, people like him never change. He will get into some kind of trouble IF HE EVEN MAKES THE TEAM in Minn.

If you think RP being in there instead of AH isn't the main reason we won that game, then you don't know a fricking thing about football.

Oh yeah, and as I said before:

sure do... but he got the boot 2 years after he was already on the team. if you think that Miles was going to baby a 20 year old, and hold on to a player that was continuously being a negative center of attention for his team, then i surely hope you never coach a team that is important to me. one player is not bigger than the rest of the team. RP couldn't get his head out of his arse, so Miles did what he should have done. probably should have done it sooner, had RP not been so gifted

That fool was given the chance of a lifetime and Coach Les gave him chance after chance. What happened? RP couldn't follow the rules and Coach Les made a gutsy call. RP has shown many character flaws in his short lifetime and one day he will be a playground legend like so many other fools.

I hope he proves me wrong.

Look, this is already way to drawn out, alls I'm saying is that I hope he does great things. This is a feel good American story where a poor African American kid messes up and gets a second chance at life and oh yeah, football. I think it's fantastic and the story should be told to millions of kids who have yet to make mistakes. Good luck RP and you will always be a TIGER in our hearts no matter what anyone says!!!!!

He has finally grown up and is a nice young man now. To bad Les couldn't coach character early in his career and make sure someone stayed on him, or he might have competed for a heisman like he said he would...

If Ryan Perrilloux has grown up and is a nice guy now, then I'm glad for him and I hope he does well in the NFL, but to blame his behavior at LSU on Les Miles' not coaching character is ridiculous. You can't "make sure someone stayed on him" because coaches are limited in the number of hours per week they can be with players. Perrilloux's failed college career is HIS fault and no one else's.
