hell of a week so far. also want to brag for a second. i wrote off this season several weeks ago and said that I'd have my first losing football season in 5 years after going down ~$900 following multiple weekends of bad bets, chasing, and poor money management. Assuming I don't give all my cash back to the NFL this Sunday/Monday, this will be 6 consecutive winning weeks and I will be back in positive money. it's crazy how far you can go with quality money management and careful, selective betting. glad I didn't abandon ship when I was in the gutter.
thanks for all the different perspectives and weekly discussion. let's keep winning
also, Praise Dwyer for His weekly 1-play bombs. we are not worthy of His grace, yet He still shines His 2U lock on us each week. those definitely helped too I will keep them coming as best I can

UNT was horrible last season and they're only getting 10, littrell first year HC, installing the spread and picked up a couple key transfers. This is a rivalry game for UNT (and at home) but not for SMU. SMU fell short of my expectations in several games last year especially down the stretch. If littrell can keep this close, it will be huge for a first statement game. Also like UNT RBs in this one, especially in the new spread attack.

Not football related but I have been at the Westgate for the past hour or so and so many guys here thinking they are master experts because their baseball parlays won. This one guy just hit an 8 teamer when the Cubs won. I turn up and look at the board and sure enough 15 of 16 MLB favorites covered today. Really hope this does not happen in CFB this weekend.
Edit: Right now I'm listening to these 4 guys to my right make discuss their college football bets. I don't think they understand what spreads and money lines are. The one guy in the group who may have a clue and is explaining what spreads are just said he has a 5 team parlay for tomorrow of all overs. And says both Louisville -38.5 and Over 59.5 are locks because "I think Louisville scores at least 60 by themselves"
I remember when I was a novice and capped games with such elementary angles. Listening to these people makes me appreciate the more tactical discussions in this thread.

Also tonight I have WKU -15.5. Anybody have anything on one of the late games tonight, preferably Minnesota Oregon state? I'm getting into Chicago 8ish and plan on finding a spot with some tv's and good beer. Would like an entertainment level play...
