CFP committee could help this. Strength of schedule has to become a bigger factor in the selection process. Otherwise teams might as well play 12 game league only schedules cause the number of quality OOC games will continue to dwindle.

Also, I would like to find out what the average viewership for October 2026 ends up looking like compared to 2025. If it’s down 10%+ compared to last year, you can ignore the first part of my post . At least in regards to quality OOC matchups and viewership.

It has been exceptionally bad. The week of 9/19,only 3 games featured a p4 opponent Its an 18 team conference. One of those games was USC v Rutgers. Biggest game was Michigan State vs ND. Next biggest was Northwestern vs Colorado. The conference took the week off.

That can't be... Last weekend the only time I left my chair was for bodily functions and to get a drink and snacks... There were some damn good SEC games on....

The SEC is damn near the only thing worth watching. It’s lightyears ahead of the other conferences in entertainment value.

Penn State - Wisconsin was actually a great game to watch but you're absolutely right. You can only withstand so many Gusgasms

The Sorsby shenanigans definitely impacted my desire to watch, followed closely by you know who pushing every possible limit. I don't care if that's the current climate and everyone is just playing the system, my passion was rooted in tradition and continuity and this ain't it.

The schedule has been brutal. Not watching Liberty vs. Coastal Carolina on a Thursday no matter how much I love college football.
Not tuning into NFL either so that ain’t it.

Absolutely nobody gives a frick about watching Big 10 football outside of maybe 3 programs.

SEC moving to 9 games with the current crop of schools was the best move they could’ve ever made
