Yesterday's Saints game reminded me of some players and coaches whose gaffe or rant is more famous then their accomplishments.

Your average sports fan will think "dropped pass."
Someone who lives close to Natchitoches or who is an NW State alum probably won't - but that is not your typical fan.
Smith himself knows it:
