Next season will mark his 10th different head coach in his 22 seasons in the league.

Everyone here seems to forget that LeBron came to a 35-win Lakers team as a free agent. They didn't give up anything to get him in the first place. And I doubt you'll find a Lakers fan who will complain since they got a championship out of it, even if you want to call it a Mickey Mouse ring. If he opts out now, or agreed to a sign and trade, he would create cap space for the Lakers to sign another, younger star to complement AD.

I mean he was about the only guy I thought Willie Green had a chance to beat in a coaching battle. So I am not surprised.

Everyone seems to forget that the Lakers were a laughing stock between Kobe’s retirement and LeBron choosing to go there. Why do you automatically assume that people will want to go play with Mr. Glass?

If Lebron was the GM the would've signed Ty Lue or Jason Kidd. Instead they hit Voglel and Ham. They also would've signed Kyrie.

Lebron doesn't run the Lakers.

Except he selfishly put the organization in cap hell which didn't allow them to sign any pieces that they actually needed to be successful

How many coaches will they go through before they realize that maybe coaching isn’t the problem?

Only if they also trade D'angelo Russell's expiring contract.

Lebron opting out only gets them back under the cap by a few million

Right. But if you're an up and coming player... say, like, Ant Man, he would be the marquee player on a marquee franchise. AD is not going to carry that team... someone else will. Reeves is a damn good player but I don't think he has it in him to carry the Lakers, night in and night out.

Coaching is pretty much the problem.

If none of the player options are picked up, they only create $29 million in cap space. You need $40-$50M to get a star. Devin Vassell makes $29million.
