We would like to get pat back and he would like to come back. The others are backups. Well heck pat would be a backup too if he comes back

This is definitely a perfect opportunity for the Lakers to add a 3rd star into the fold. Besides I've always viewed CP3 as a team player more than James Harden is, and that's the exact kinda energy and star quality the Lakers require at the moment.

-Paul unhappy requests trade from NOLA
-Paul unhappy requests trade from Clippers / issues with teammates & Coach

-Paul unhappy in Houston & allegedly requests trade because of issues with teammates.

MSB blames Harden .

I brought this up in my thread, but Russillo was on Sportcenter and basically said that it's very possible that Paul didn't make any trade demands, but Russillo knows for a fact that Paul wants out of Houston.

It's not just Russillo. When there is this much smoke, there is at least a little flame.

At the end of the day, CP3 is untradeable. He will be on the rockets next season and try to make it work. I have my doubts that everybody will be able to put this behind them and actually win something of note, however.

You certainly would know a player trade request when you see one as a spurs fan. Considering two star players since Timmy left have requested to be traded. Oh and no playoff series wins anytime in recent memory and not looking good to win anytime soon ether.

Nba purgatory. Too good to get a good draft pick. Not good enough to win even a playoff series.

Man, the Rockets are on the verge of being at that point. Paul has that horrible contract, Harden just isn't a winner in the playoffs. They have a good GM who can turn things around, and maybe Harden can come through (Peyton Manning managed to do it.) But I would be very careful, so my words don't bite me in the arse.

That's never stopped him before. The rockets history compared to the spurs is nothing when looking at any timeline. Unless you'd like to use board bitch's little 2 year 'recent memory' timeline.

When you have harden you are guaranteed to g sweep through the playoffs Unless you come across an all time great team like GOAT. Hardwn has 4 g sweep wins in the playoffs the last 3 seasons. And two losses to GOAT. Harden and the rockets dominate the post season. Except for when they are up v the best team the league has seen.

It is not like he is a Westbrook who can’t even force a game 7 in rd one, he loses out in 5 or 6 to teams like Utah and PDX. harden has never and will never lose to an inferior team like that.

Like that series they lost when Harden got stuffed by a 59-year-old Manu Ginobli

Conley to Utah. This enables them to avoid g sweep v Houston. This should get them to a 6 game loss. Congrats to the jazz.

Austin Rivers on James Harden + Chris Paul rumors: “It's definitely not true. I didn't see any issues between any of them. It's just made up news, fake news like most of the stuff you see on these Instagram pages." #Rockets

I remember Danny Green tweeting out something almost identical to this regarding the Kawhi/Spurs rift. Rockets fricked.
