You act like LSU has never gotten an easy SECe slate.

Or slightly skewed the other way. He has had layup schedules with a few games to decide his fate. Now I realize he turned Oregon into a power where all those games were Layups much like Saban at Alabama but his offenses have regularly looked pedestrian if not straight up worse than the likes of an Alabama (not known for offense) when playing on equal footing. Obviously he won't have any Layups in the NFC East so honestly besides the eagles basically rolling the dice to see what happens what makes us remotely think he can win?....all this being said if I was an eagles fan I would be happy with the hire because if nothing else it would excite me to see what might happen.

Putting the Bama/Saban fellating aside, I agree. When the talent level was even (Auburn, LSU, etc), Oregon has struggled. I don't see this as a good hire.

Saban has recruited superior talent, so the "talent is equal" argument is dumb.

Texas and some of the LSU teams he beat had equal talent. As did Florida in the 2009 seccg.

WOW LSU fan. Must be a hard life being so jealous of Bama all day every day. Sheesh, you are going to hurt yourself one of these days.

it is a little different when it is part of the normal rotation instead of a Bama alum changing it up

when is the last time Bama had a harder SECe schedule? 2010. So it'll be 3 straight years with an easier lineup, the last 2 decided by the SEC

A few months ago the narrative was that Oregon didn't have "SEC talent". Now you guys say they do?

Most have said Oregon didn't have equal talent on here. Now it was equal across the board?
