Cub fans would love to return him at this point, though honestly I think it has more to do with their broadcast partner Marquee. They have really struggled to gain acceptance for many and varied reasons, and IMHO many of their own doing.

I'd be happy with Ingram or Jim Powell doing PBP.

Does anyone know why Powell has been so minimized on the radio side last couple of years? I liked his PBP.

Because of the emergence of Ingram. I think the Braves know what they have with him. He's special on radio.

After he called the Peach Bowl for 680 (and Scott Howard stumbled through it as always for the UGA radio network), I wouldn't be surprised if there was a push from UGA to have Ingram come be the full time play by play guy there.
