Natchitoches was established in 1714 by Louis Juchereau de St. Denis as part of French Louisiana,
Acadians arrived in south Louisiana 50 years later. in about 1764.
French folk were geauxing and bleauxing for decades in Natchitoches when the Cajuns were still in Canada.

I love Natchitoches. Only place north of Alexandria I would ever move, and Northwestern is the only other school in the SLC I would ever pull for because my wife's grandfather is an alum.

It’s just tough to win in Natchitoches. Stoker did well, but he rode the line and that’s what got him fired. Unfortunately, you won’t win without riding that imaginary line between right and wrong.
