Blues squandered quite a few solid scoring chances, that 3 on 1 and Leopold missed high was just awful, pass it to someone who can actually score or get it on net.
Blues outplayed the Kings but the Kings held on and got back in the series.
Great game and series.

JT with one assist last game...JT disappears a bit in the playoffs, which is strange he used to be able to go into the boards with 2 or 3 opposing players retrieve the puck, pass it to himself and score consistantly...

What the hell? I avoid ESPN, especially their hockey coverage, but what is up with this? I think they have intentionally bad hockey coverage to keep people from being interested from a sport they don't cover.

Did you see the article Baloo...I was just checking a score and saw it (i made the mistake of picking up an insider account)for football recruiting a year or so back and i can honestly say i have never been as pissed off at ESPN (well aside from the Bama rematch frickery)in all my life. ESPN is all about page views but since they don`t have broadcast rights it seems like their relegation to the backpages and the margins of their organization is sheer spite...

I didn't. I don't know what you're talking about, though I don't doubt you. ESPN's coverage is uniformly terrible. Their insider blog on the playoffs, four of the five top entries are on the Red Wings. While I don't mind Red Wings coverage... are you kidding me? The Wings aren't THAT interesting of a team this year (old team on its slow decline) and I don't know how you can write almost exclusively on that team.

I've actually been somewhat impressed with ESPN's NHL coverage on SportsCenter and ESPNEWS.
Seems like they're covering every game and the legend Barry Melrose doing every segment.
I think they know they fricked up not getting the rights to the NHL going forward with how big of a ratings boost the NHL received this year and growth of the sport overall.
Last night they even played the old NHL on ESPN theme song when cutting to a segment, it was frickin' awesome, one of the best sport theme songs IMO.
