Jesus overtime.. can not believe that goal was waived off.

At least the ref was clear and concise

It's a bad call. They were calling this pretty loose until there was some rough play on that one. If he'd have seen there was a play developing, it's not a call.

Dude. I'm not rooting for either team. I'm just rooting for a meteor to hit Boston when the Pens are in the arena, too. I'll likely root for the winner to win the Cup, whoever it is. I don't really care who wins.... but it was an awful call. This was 1993 Kings/Leafs levels of awful. Seriously, if the Hawks lose, this will be remembered as one of the worst calls in NHL history.

I'm not as mad at the wave off but the 4 on 4 was dumb as frick. Detroit pushed the guy and get rewarded with a 4 on 4.

Was almost as bad as the penalty shot call

If the ref thought there was a penalty on Chicago, then he made the right call. It doesn't matter what else is happening on the ice.

Ref has to call offsetting minors when he throws a punch

Yea, I don't see why the Chicago player got a penalty.

I really think the wave off from the back official comes AFTER the goal. He called the penalty after the crowd reacts.

He threw a punch almost guarantees offsetting minors if he is calling the other guy

Then you get into the grey area. When did he decide to blow his whistle?

I saw that too, the crowd was freaking out when he stepped in and the hawk player was down on the ice already

He threw a punch. The double minors made sense. It was stupid to call, and it was after the play, but if you're gonna make the wrong call ,don't compound the error by making a really wrong call.

The timing was close, but the blackhawk player was already down on the ice before the goal. So you just have to assume he had already blown the whistle

He stepped in right when the crowd exploded and then waved his arms

Let us not lose sight if what is really important here, Detroit is still alive. I have no clue who I will pull for if they go down.

Are you also a Yankees fan?

I'm curious why there are so many Detroit fans on the board?
