The Cubs (1-1) and Cardinals (1-1) try once again to play the rubber game of the series. Yesterday's game was rained out. John Lackey (11-8, 3.35) makes his first start of the year, opposite Lance Lynn. Cubs will travel to Milwaukee for 3, before the home opener on
Monday. Go Cubs Go!

Hopefully Piscotty leaves his ball magnet in his other pants.

I hate this lineup. Put Javy at second, Zobrist in right, Heyward in CF, Kyle in left. Contreras catching. Hopefully Bryant gets some good swings in today

Im guessing Montero is in there for Lackey, who is a pretty prickly dude. Montero has much more experience behind the plate

It'll be weird seeing Jon Jay in cubbie blue. Good for him tho, like to see him have some more success.

Weird to see Fowler in red, but was happy when they picked up Jay. Scrappy dude

Maddon is stacking the lefties because:

Fowler lost a little respect from Cubbie nation with that bull**** slide in the opener. Good guy though

I read he reached out and apologized for the slide and said he thought it was legal. Probably something one of the best fans in baseball told him.......

I fully expect the Cubs to get off to a bad start this year, and the starters get pounded early on. Hope not, but just my thoughts right now.
