The Cubs (24-6) and the Padres (13-19) will try once again to open this 3-game series. Last night's game was rained out. Twin bill tomorrow. John Lester (3-1, 1.58) gets the ball for Chicago opposite Cesar Vargas (0-1, 1.10) for San Diego. Go Cubs Go.

with rain in the area, what do you do? Long game yesterday, probably at least a guy or two unavailable in the bullpen.
Because of the rain it would be a great night for a bullpen night because you don't want to cut lester short after 2 innings and a long delay.
Wonder if joe does something crazy like letting warren start and keep lester loose to come in if no delay after an inning or two

Yeah, bleacher seats were going for about $14 on stubhub and I was thinking of going, but I'd be shocked if this game gets played.

Was shitty and rainy pretty much all day, just cleared up about an hour ago. Kind of hazy overcast right now, but I'm seeing some sun off the Trump Tower.
