Just imagine if Bryant really gets rolling again and Soler starts mashing. Scary good offense.

Dude. Soler has been crushing lasts 2-3 weeks.

Bryant is just missing pitches. He has highest miss rate in baseball.

We are averaging about 6 runs per game since the Castro benching.

I expect he just means elevating the ball...as opposed to attempted manslaughter-ing the pitcher.

he's played in a few of those games. He's clearly the driving force with his late game replacement and cheering ability.

I checked the play by play and it said Coghlan struck out after the second homer.

Impressive regardless.

Pirates lose and we are 1/2 game back of that WC1 spot.

Seriously, I hate the Cardinals.

ETA- It would be fun for all 3 of us to pass the Royals though

Seems like the cards should be due for a little slump. They've been ridiculous all year despite all the injuries. I'd love it if they fell off a bit and at least made the pennant chase interesting. NL central is strong like bull.

Obviously we've gotta catch the pirates before pipe dreams of catching the cardinals take over our minds, but...in a weird way I kind of want them to keep winning, win some ungodly number of games. Get to the playoffs, then get knocked out in the first round. Go to st.louisbestfans twitter and watch the world burn.

Ha...Denorfia.

Yeah I know. Just sucks knowing we'd be chasing a pennant in most other divisions.

Let's just be thankful MLB added a 2nd WC spot.

This season could really suck without it. Possibly when every other division and miss the playoffs.

How many games has Schwarber played in?

15 or so?

That's 25 RBIs already
