I'm starting to feel bad for this pitcher

You missed my point. The Cubs can afford to take a flier and see if he turns it around because you are not hampered by payroll really. The Cards need a guy making 25 per year to perform now. We cant afford to throw that away and pay someone else to provide cover for his lack of offense.
Also, how is heyward only making 8.8 this year? just looked up his contract and it shows a base of 15+ signing bonus of 2.5 for a total of 17.5 in 2016?

Wasn't he a 7 WAR player last year?
I think so, but he also hit .293 for us with 13 HR's, a .360 OBP, and 23 stolen bases.
Compare that to this year and you are talking exact opposite at the plate.

We're used to it. Dont feel bad. Our staff sucks this year.

Too soon to start thinking magic number? (It's 36 btw, not counting today).

I would post memes as well after saying some of the silly shite you did.

Yopu are on cruise control to win the division. Start counting.

How are they "poor" when he was offered $200M? And when Price was offered even more?
So how many times did you fail Economics 101?

I'm going tomorrow. It was my first pick in our season ticket draft. I've had shitty luck so they'll probably lose 4-1 or something.

We cant all live over on the gaming board kid...

I dont think the Cubs and cards have a weekend series in St Louis this year. Thats sucks, its hard for me to get downtown to games during the week. Always love going to Cubs Cards games.

And thank god he did.

Would have set the Cards back quite aways.

And thank god he did.

ETA: I bet you think Bryce Harper sucks too huh? 47 points below his career average this year. Obviously all downhill from here.

You're melting down so hard bc you just don't care about Heyward at all. Piscotty is carrying the cards to the ship.

No, he was not. But he was coming off a much better season at the time. If he ever becomes a 7 WAR player again then his value significantly rises.
