Soler is hitting the nipple off the ball tonight.

He's going to have the quietist studly year next to Bryant.

Perfect scenario for he and Russell (whenever he gets the call)

I would seriously like to know how hard the ball came off the bat on that swing.

Astrotards were mocking da frick out of me saying Bryant would hit .285 after he went 0-4.

Welp, dude is sitting at .385 now and been on base 10 of his last 14 ABs.

Kid can fricking rake..

I would like to know where all of the idiots that said he is a low average guy got that from. He hasn't hit under .300 anywhere in the minors or his last of year of college I believe. Do those type of players usually project as low average big leaguers??

Bryant is not necessarily a low average guy like Mark Trumbo, but it is near impossible to hit .300 in the Majors if you fan over 30% of the time.

His average could definitely affected by his K rate big time because Bryant should have a strong BABIP with the way he hits the cover off the ball. However, his best hits (bombs) will not factor into his BABIP of course. He could easily be .275 average, .325 BABIP, 25% k%.

Very true. I just don't see it. I just see a guy that has done nothing but mash. I see the trend continuing. Not crowning the guy the next Ted Williams or anything but some of the Astros guys were saying .250-.260 and I'm just saying no way to that.

I Do know that it's gonna be fun as hell to watch him play.

And oh yeah Castro blowzzz...

The adjustments Bryant has made from at bat to at bat are making me a believer in his ability to hit for a high average.

That's exactly what I'm basing my thoughts on. He was beyond ready to hit the major leagues. He is learning very very quickly.
