Damn if Soler couldn't play LB.
All 5 Cubs starters have ERA's under 3.00. (!!!)

Honestly, there doesn't need to be an event going on. The aquarium, as well as the Science and Industry museum and the Field Museum are all world class. The wife and I can honestly spend 6-8 hours in each of the museums and 4 in the aquarium on any given day. Do one a day with the evening filled with millennium park on night, the fountain another night, Navy Pier another night. Have a formal dinner on one of the dinner cruise yachts.

Following this series, the Cubs will play 27 of their next 33 on the road.
That sounds odd, is there some kind of event in Chicago or just an extreme quirk in the schedule?

They've played a lot of their recent games at home. Guessing it's just a really long road stretch
ETA: it's actually 20 of their next 26 on the road. The AtBat app schedule listed the final week of June twice on the calendar and I read it incorrectly.

So Arizona is going to walk Montero to get to Baez. Obviously Hale's thinking . . . I don't know what the hell Hale's thinking!

how often do you get a home run on a throwing error like that? not often, I'd imagine.
and yes, i know it's not scored a home run, but the outcome i mean.

Not often. It is rare there is a throw like that. These guys are so good. Arizona should have yakety sax playing in the field right now.
2 intentional walk decisions; both blew up in their faces.

More yakety sax out there.

At what point during that implosion did Chip Hale just decide, you know what, screw it. Eventually this inning will have to end.

We did all of that the last trip their, except don't remember if we did the Field Museum. We caught Blue Man Group one night, Navy Pier, the fountain.
I know I need to check out a river tour. I love watching the games on TV during the air show, so that's on my list for in person.
