My dude. There ain’t many in CFB history close to Joe’s stat line. He’s an all timer and he ain’t done yet

McNair deserved the Heisman in '94 way more than Salaam - 5,377 yards passing in 11 games and nearly 1,000 rushing. He was the best football player in the country that year.

Fields is a much better passer than Hurts. Not a good comparison there.

Much better?

Fields
2,953yds
40 TDs
1 INT
92.4 QBR
67.5 COMP%

Hurts
3,634yds
32 TDs
7 INTs

Just for the record, if I were to choose a QB for a college team, I’d rank them like this:

Burrow
Hurts/Lawrence (personally can’t separate the two, I like both of them)
Fields
I'm confused...you agreed with my ranking.

Clemson is going to get smashed in the mouth a lot harder than UNC did and they aren't going to know how to respond since it's been since last January they've encountered anyone like THE Ohio State University. Prediction OSU 38 - Clemson 24

Judging by your takes before and during the Big 10 title game, this is a bad omen for Ohio St.

The same Hurts that just put up one of the best passer rating seasons we've ever seen?

Your self awareness is lacking pretty badly.

Imagine the biggest or best Ohio St message board, not sure what that even is. Now imagine a few LSU fans going to that board and90% of their posts are LSU vs OSU related. Now imagine that poster saying things like "You guys are gonna melt when the rankings come out and you're #2." Now imagine that LSU fan was wrong.

How do you think that poster would be received by Buckeye fans?

You positioned yourself as the rankings expert on the MSB, and you were also pretty arrogant/condescending towards LSU fans along the way, you know that. Then in the end you were wrong. At some point, you need to accept the fallout.

Who's a better NFL prospect as a thrower? It's Fields>>>>>>Hurts and it isn't close.

ETA: Just look at their throwing motions. It's not close.

Neither one of these guys will be an NFL starter for more than a year or two.

None of this is relevant to who is a better QB this season in college.

You picked the wrong fan base if this is your expectation. These are the same people that claimed missing an early fg cost them the game vs Clemson. You know the 31-0 beat down lol

I've posted many times about thia already. Maybe even to you.

The melt if LSU was #2 would have been wild. I think most everyone thought after the week 14 rankings that Ohio State was essentially a lock to #1 with the way Ohio State's resume stacked up and the results in those games.

On selection Sunday, I actually noticed the flip of Wolfe from Ohio State back to LSU, something I didn't anticipate. I actually posted before the rankings reveal that the BCS probably flipped back to LSU with the change in computer polls, which it did. I posted that this likely would have an impact in the rankings which it did.

I've posted countless times about how I was wrong.

So again, "I'll accept the fallout."

Landry did it in 12 games in a bad conference playing for a mediocre team

Young did it in 11 games in a good conference playing for a playoff team

Burrow is gonna win, you guys don't have to be so damn insecure about it.

In 2016 the ACC had the best team in the country and ended up with 5 teams ranked at the end of the year. The Big 10 currently has 6 ranked teams.

Whatever you have to tell yourself. Chase Young deserved an invite but these goofballs bitching all over twitter about him being "snubbed" is asinine at best.

I've never heard anyone say that, not even once.

I'm not sure who you associate with though.
