Honestly have idea what he’s trying to spin this into. He moves the goalpost so much I can’t keep up.
Are you high?

Lol so when you talk about Burrow you compare him nationally but when it’s Fields you shrink the field to 4? Got it thanks for clarifying.

You said Fields was the weakest CFP QB by a wise margin.
You said I was only looking at one stat.
I posted stat rankings among those four.

And I gave the reasons for it. Stats are nice qualifiers but they only tell you what happened they don’t tell you why or provide context like are you playing against Rutgers or Florida A&M or Nebraska.

Rank the schedules of the CFP teams, 1 thru 4

Dude he didn’t reach 3,000 passing he didn’t reach 500 rushing, he had one 300 yard game vs Rutgers, he never had over 72 yards rushing in a game... what stats? He has none that are impressive.

I agree it's not by a wide margin but like I said, there's definitely a sound argument to be made that he's 4th best, even with 40 TDs and 1 INT.
So.... eyetest?
Just for the record, if I were to choose a QB for a college team, I’d rank them like this:
Burrow
Hurts/Lawrence (personally can’t separate the two, I like both of them)
Fields

Admit he's not the weakest CFP QB by a wide margin.
That was a clown take, bro.

There’s a long list of average to below college QBs who went for ride on loaded rosters and he’s one of em.
Posted on 12/12/19 at 4:14 pm to KosmoCramer
Lol no because it’s true and that will play out. The other 3 guys are sure fire next level QBs and almost assuredly starters. He’ll never be an NFL starter unless it’s a shuffle or desperation type deal.

Not really when the other three are Burrow, Lawrence and Hurts.
Fields has had moments this year where he looks completely lost. Then he just hands the ball off to Dobbins a few times until he eventually hits a wide open receiver.

Which games have you watched, when are those moments?

Let's start with the entire Penn St. game.

You watched that game and that was your take away?
The fumbles weren't optimal, but we dominated that game and Fields was very efficient.
I guess we have to agree to disagree.
Fields won't go out and throw 50 times and win the ball game. But he is multi faceted and can win it all. Not a doubt in my mind about that.

Wisconsin too, pretty much anybody with a pulse

Congrats, your schedule was better than 2 high school schedules.

Here’s some comparisons since you’ve shrunk the field..
Pct of games throwing for under 250 yards
Fields- 10-13 times 76.9%
Burrow- 8-26 times 30.7%
Lawrence- 12-26 times 46.1%
Hurts- 26-42 times 61.9%
Games over 300 yards passing
Fields- 2
Burrow- 13 (2 over 450)
Lawrence- 7
Hurts- 5 (1over 400)
He’s not even close to these guys, he runs a wide open system yet he can’t even keep up with the “Running QB” of the group throwing the ball and when it comes to running he’s nowhere near Hurts and is actually closer to Lawrence and Burrow.

Hurts is not an NFL caliber QB
