1 year, $15 million per Mark Feinsand at MLB.com. Hopefully this kickstarts some more free agents signing but I doubt it :/

Before he signed with Tampa this last time, he did say he would only play for the Rays or Braves since he lives in Florida.

I mean I'll take it. Typical AA signing which more than likely means he's not nutting up to make a run at Bauer.

I would go all in for Ozuna if I was AA. Which means he probably won't re-sign him

hard to negotiate with Ozuna without the MLB making a ruling on the DH.
He's not throwing anyone out from LF.

Great signing. He has a 3.28 ERA in 61 October innings. That's why he was brought here. That and to be a mentor for the young guys, which he is great w/younger guys.

He left Houston because his family all lived in Connecticut or Delaware or some shite and he wanted to be closer to them. I guess when he got the rays offer they made the difficult decision to move

Yea we can’t sign Ozuna without knowing if there’s going to be a DH next season in the NL.

They’ve always been in Florida. It’s why he signed with the Rays
Or one of the main reasons anyway

Morton makes his offseason home a half-hour south of Tropicana Field in Bradenton, Fla., and he recently met with team executives and manager Kevin Cash and pitching coach Kyle Snyder. Morton felt even more comfortable after that. "The thought of being able to play close to home and with such a talented group, a young group, an exciting group, seemed something too good to be true," Morton said. "I guess I was looking for a really good situation overall more than a dollar amount, more than a year amount. The quality of the character in the clubhouse, those things are really important to me."

Rays were stupid not to give him a qualifying offer. They could have traded him to the braves and got something in return

I agree, but why don’t we know that yet? The CBA isn’t up until after the ‘21 season, right? So is it back to business as usual or are the owners and MLBPA scheduled to meet sometime this off-season to work a few things out? Seems like it would be in both sides best interest to know these things as soon as possible.
As it stands, I think an AL team will feel more comfortable offering him what he’ll want (and deserve). I can see him wearing the frick out of the green monster at Fenway. Everything he hits would be off the wall or over it. Can’t shift to protect that.
More like a Shaq-pack.
