A1abama dropped two spots. Did you melt about that?

If we're being honest, this whole CFP committee really is a clown show.

Of course it is. It’s just funny to see LSU fans crying for consistency this season when it’s always been like this.

If we went with computers only with a 4-team playoff, undefeated Florida State is shut out in 2014 over four teams with one loss each.
Which was probably the right call.

And like I said, #13 got killed by #1. Does that mean they are worse than the 14-15-16-17 etc etc however many teams?
Ok, so like I said, every time a ranked team lost to #1 or top 3 or 5 this season, did they drop only 1 spot?
Obviously you cannot see logic but rather have this notion a loss means a team must drop a set number of spots. It's immaterial to you the place they were in when said loss occurred nor does the quality of teams behind them impact their positioning.

Or, A1abama dropped only one more spot after losing to a lower ranked team than Michig8n lost to.

Necessary evil. If we went with computers only with a 4-team playoff, undefeated Florida State is shut out in 2014 over four teams with one loss each.
And they proved they deserved to be there by losing 59-20.

Even a casual CFB football fan would know the playoff committee has been an inconsistent joke since it’s exception.

To what extent is MOV factored in? Iirc it wasn't in the BCS

And everyone knows the deal going in. No backroom Wizard of Oz shite.

Just can’t see justification for a Wisconsin team with their bad loss above Florida
I think the justification is that Wisconsin beat 3 ranked teams while Florida beat 1.

+10000000%
It’s pretty obvious the committee is looking at the simulated BCS rankings anyway.

Actually based on this the computer rankings had FSU as 2nd

The intent of the CFP is to safeguard against some crazy computer anomaly that everyone is afraid of but can't explain how it would happen.

quote:Right, Bama dropped more spots in a 5 point loss than Michigan in a 29 point loss, thanks for proving my point.
Or, A1abama dropped only one more spot after losing to a lower ranked team than Michig8n lost to.
Now do the rest of the ranked teams to lose to #1...

Yet Georgia has a worse loss and is still ranked up there.

Even a casual CFB football fan would know the playoff committee has been an inconsistent joke since it’s exception.
Again, no major issues with the top 4, though as an LSU fan I do think LSU should be #1, but no major qualms.
But also again, it's painfully obvious the committee wanted OSU #1(again, fine) and decided to finagle the rankings of Big 10/SEC Teams in such a way to be able to better defend OSU at #1 IMO.
