The deeper end zone in the CFL opens up the passing game when teams are inside the 10-yard-line. The wider field opens up the running game on sweeps.

Variety is the spice of life. The NBA lacks variety now. Analytics have deemed the 3 pointer so valuable, that only a tiny portion of the floor is being used for shots. Analytics has also deemed that 7 footers that can hit the three can be used at nearly every position. Now, we have positionless basketball with an extremely high amount of possessions resulting in 3-point shot attempts.

Yes, the athletes are bigger, stronger, and maybe better. Instead of using that to promote a better game, we have restricted those very athletes into a narrow style of play.

"Merge" it with the NFL and treat it like European Soccer and relegate teams who suck. Make them earn their spot back in the NFL, all while growing the sport.
