I don’t know if it will end up mattering all that much. Miami should win the ACC and be the 3 seed in the playoff regardless if they are 3 in the AP Poll or 10 (assuming some Big 12 team doesn’t leap them)

It wasn't targeting, and especially since the initial contact was at the shoulder. Getting hit in the shoulder pad and bottom of the helmet is not what the rule was meant for. It was meant for axial spine loading and blunt contact at the ear line or higher, around the head. It's the worst rule in football. Countless times the offense is responsible for helmet to helmet and they are never called. That tells you it's all BS.
