Maybe I’m not understanding your question, but the fumble is wiped out because of the targeting call. Just like any other defensive penalty cancels out a turnover.

Yea I get that they just never addressed the fumble. They said it was a catch which then indicates it was a legit fumble (he doesn't appear down)
Like you said doesn't really matter, Nebraska would keep the ball regardless just changes the spot after the penalty I presume

Especially with Arnold getting sacked about 8 times. They had 3 years to get our trenches in shape. Defense is pretty good but our O line is pathetic.
