Incredibly big hit. Damn.

It didn’t look like targeting during the play but I don’t even know what it is anymore. Haven’t seen replay.

It shouldn’t be. He didn’t launch and he didn’t lead with his head. wTF is he supposed to do?

Which shows how pathetic football has become. That was a clean, hard hit. Tell your QB not to miss high in the seam

Looked like a clean hit, but those just aren't allowed anymore

The receiver got pushed into his head. Never even lowered helmet. I don’t know what else he should have done.

targeting rule is so stupid, led with his shoulder but because he was defenseless he is ejected from the game.

Honsetly I think heading with the crown of the helmet should be ejectable, not a high hit.

That is just so, so bad. Sometimes the physics of the play lead to a big collision. That’s football! If you don’t want to get hit, don’t play.

It’s a 6’5 WR. Where is the DB’s head supposed to go? Down so he can break HIS neck?

Targeting should be for egregious hits. Not just big hit. But if you are going to throw a flag on every big hit at least don’t throw the kid out of the game

I love Ty Simpsons game. He has a chance to be the first QB off the board when he comes out

These officials in the Illinois game must have money on Buckeyes
