It’s not that complicated. LSU gained all of Florida’s land after they beat them, but Florida’s season didn’t end. If they beat another team with land they then gain that land. You can lose a battle on one front but win on the other front.

LSU just took all of Auburn's land, so according to you the rest of their wins should go to LSU. That's Fine.Makes sense
Bama beats LSU, which means they take all of LSU's territories. Does that mean all of Auburn future wins belong to Bama now via LSU? That's still fine, still makes sense.

And that's just getting into a simple triangle of wins. Imagine trying to map out 07 with this shite. It's just simpler this way. This map is in no way supposed to reflect who the best teams are (just like the CFB belt), it's just a fun little map.
