The mayors are so cowardly they would rather let the rioters burn down the city rather than confront them and risk a serious confrontation.
If you put down the rioters with extreme force, it ends it cold, but you run the risk of injuries or deaths and that's where their cowardice comes in.
But the rioters are going to keep pushing until someone pushes back. It usually takes the cowards a few days to figure this out.

The most sad part about this is that CNN won’t bring on any guests that will say what the rioters are doing is wrong. I wonder why..... they show tons of pictures of blacks trying to break windows(while the black man they have on speaks) but yet why has no so called black leader come on the air and says stop the destruction. Now those said black leaders are saying the KKK is causing these people to riot... sorry for the black man it’s ALWAYS someone else’s fault.
