at some point, penn state on the way back will become a story... once people realize that it's a whole new regime there that deserves a chance, their first good season after the sanctions will draw curiosity

Notre Dame. Tuning into NBC every fall Saturday made it easy to follow the same team because they were one of the only ones consistently on the same channel at usually the same time. That, and Carlyle Holiday was my frickin hero growin up

That's true, and tbh, I've got nothing against O'Brien either. They will be interesting to watch, no question.

Texas Tech
Well, not entirely unexplainable, I really liked their style of play under Leach.

I've always liked Oregon, back when they had the Donald Duck logo.
i can't quite explain my fascination with miami either, or the fact that i became a fan after a loss to alabama in the sugar bowl

Mizzou for the last few years. My cousin went there for his MBA and I got to visit Columbia once.
I have family and a few good friends who are USC alumni so I am always keeping up with them. Don't hate them but I also hardly ever root for them (probably only vs Washington and ASU)... They've won enough. I never miss the Oregon/SC games in Los Angeles.

That's awesome. I was 8 the year they made that Rose Bowl run with the Gang Green defense. I had an Oregon helmet that I made my parents find number stickers for so I could put 16 on the back and be like Danny O'neil

Florida State. The "Targaryens" of CFB for all the game of thrones fans.
Michigan too.
