No you don't.

LSU 4 top 10
I’m looking at the top 10 teams in the standings right now (since those are the top 10 teams as it stands right now and there’s no way you are counting an arse team like Texas as a top 10 team) and don’t see how you got to 4 teams?

frick it. You can throw out all the stats and polls you want to. If LSU and OSU play, LSU will beat them. That’s all that matters

Y’all are talking shite, but Texas would probably be the second best team OSU has played all year
Posted on 11/17/19 at 7:50 pm to Mr. Hangover
Ohio State - 21
LSU - 0
LSU - 0

Texas did receive 4 votes to be ranked 25th in the AP today. That counts for something

According to today's Poll, the voters (both coaches and writers) feel that Indiana is better than Texas.

They'd be #4. That goes down to #6 by the end of the month.

How many teams could go to bama and win on the road?
Dear God! their QB was playing at half speed. When have you ever seen a Heisman candidate fumble away a TD without being touched? He was focused on not getting hit, throughout that game

We did beat FAU when they were undefeated. That defeat probably ruined their season as they had hopes to be the G5 NY6 bowl participant. Just like Texas losing to LSU, just ruined their mojo.

quote:Every year, including this one, there are a handful of teams good enough to beat any team at any location where the probability is high enough that it’s not some rare and unexpected upset.
How many teams could go to bama and win on the road? 48 outta 49 couldn't.
It just so happens that those handful of teams rarely play each other before the “post-season,” and it’s even even more rare that one of those teams happens to be Alabama and the other team happens to be playing a regular season game at Alabama.
So LSU is one of the few teams that had a decent shot of beating Alabama on the road, but it’s the ONLY team that actually has the chance to actually make it happen THIS SEASON.

There are 5 teams that OSU has either played (Wisconsin at 12th; Cincinnati at 17th), will play (Penn State at 6th; Michigan at 10th), or may play on the conference championship (Wisconsin again at 12th; Minnesota at 14th) that are so far ahead of Texas, that the difference between the 5th worst team in that group (Minnesota) and Texas is both statistically and practically significant to extreme levels of significance.
Furthermore, a 6th team (Indiana at 33rd) is considerably closer to Texas than Texas is to any of those other 5 teams. So Texas would CLEARLY be no better than the 6th best team on OSU’s schedule this season and potentially the 7th.

When Michigan beats OSU this year the meltdown will be glorious.

And its becoming clear that most teams have one of their highest scoring games vs LSU.

Vanderbilts highest scoring game this year was 38 against LSU. Their 2nd highest was against lowly Purdue with 24 points. Both in losses yikes.
Alabama had 41 and ole miss 37
