The TG&Y and Winn Dixie was the Walmart of Central back in the day...

The wife wants to go to the game, since she teaches at Sid U. I might have to go support my ole Alma Mater (CHS '82).

BTW. I haven't seen Acadiana play. I hear they run the option. Anyone know what formations they primarily run it out of and how much do run it? Do they dabble with it or do they hang their hat on it?

225tiger Acadiana will run the ball no matter what and do it all night out of the same formation if it is a pass it will be a PA bootleg everytime, and passes are in the same formation as the run

well who wouldnt when you have gone to the championship for the past 3 years and pulled one off, but Acadiana has always been about the veer since they started the football program

and Coach Dotson who is Central's DC has a life time connection to Acadiana as his Dad was (is?) the long time Coach there.

Sid has put together one of the most experienced coaching staffs in the state, a few of them being ex head coaches!!!!!!

What is the spread on this game? If it's raining I may take the under.

the only reason I picked Acadiana to win is because of their experience

understandably so...............I see the obvious key to the game is Central's run Defense against Acadiana's vaunted Veer, but how does Acadiana's pass defense stack up against Central's Spread Passing game??

Acadiana's defense is average, their pass defense is below average. they play a lot of zone, nothing fancy and they don't have the pass rush they used to have with DE Winky Journet

but if they are clicking on offense, your offense won't be on the field to expose them.

Man I like the sound of that, BEWARE the upset because Central has an excellent Passing game.

Central's Run Defense has been pretty damn solid down the stretch as well.

This one could be closer than people expect..................
