The Cubs and the Cowboys have so many bandwagon fans, what gets me about the cubs is they suck.

This makes total sense
I currently play in two. We usually have openings after the season is over. They aren't through sporting news though

Last year was the last game of the season that had no meaning.
You do realize I said most nights, and yes Jason David was burnt most of the night and even on the 1st INT. I'm glad he had sucess and hope that he builds on it.

And if Boomer's son has CP and not Autisim I would probably lower his sucess rate to 60%

We don't? If we win the last 5 we are a lock to make the playoffs. 4 out of 5 and we have a 50/50 shot.

The last 5 games:
At tampa (we already beat them, but this will be the toughest game left)

Atlanta (yes they got us good, but I don't think we will lose to them at home)

At Chicago (They really aren't impressive)

At Detroit (lol)

Carolina (I think the last time they played well was against us)
Is there anything more tired then hating ESPN. Jesus. I read it on a million times a day and now have to read national writers talk about it. Call me crazy but as a sports fan I'm pretty happy there is an ESPN.

They do. Chimes then J.Alexander's for me. I've yet to fine one of these so called BBQ places that have good ribs.

John Folse's Smokehouse BBQ located in the Shell Station, Highland @ I-10.................thank me later!!!

I've gone there twice now and it's blown dick both times.

The correct answer is the Chimes and I really don't like any of the other food there.

We're staying at a bed and breakfast so we will be having breakfast there on Sunday

We are also hitting up Dante's Kitchen for Brunch on Saturday. It's going to be a big foodie weekend.

The wife and I aren't really big on Creole places for the most part, or maybe we are just burnt out on them. We're also trying to avoid the Brennan's and Emeril's places.
I'm really struggling with who to start this week.

QB Mcnabb or Big Ben?

McNabb is playing a bad passing D and knows he needs a big game. On the other hand Big Ben is consistantly putting up like 12 points a game which is better than negative numbers from McNabb.

Then I need to start 5 out of the following:
Chris Johnson
Thomas Jones
Tim Hightower
Plax
L.Coles
Berrian
M.Muhammad.

I can't start plax b/c he's hurt.
Berrian has been sucking but played well against Chicago last tiem
Hightower hasn't been doing anything but he still scores TD's.

I will start Coles, C.Johnson, T.Jones. Just not sure where to go with the other 2
I pretty much need help in all aspects. Especially scoring. This year I really can't win so I might as well make moves for next season. Maybe when I get some guys back like J.rich and Monta Ellis this increase in scoring will help me out. I didn't want to get rid of Kidd because he's my most productive player but it's not doing me any good this year.
You mean a trade in which one team has no chance to win this year, has no scoring or big men and trades a 40 year old PG in probably his last porductive year for a big man and a guy who averages over 20 points a game which will help a team who has no one who is averaging over 16 points a game?
I'm not sure who invests more time talking about there fantasy league teams, Nobes or Ron Mexico.

George Shinn?

Anyway those "disasters" you mentioned really don't compare to Katrina.

What is the spread on this game? If it's raining I may take the under.

Pelican Club was the 1st choice but they are closed for the hollidays. I'm open to other suggestions. Those were just the two the wife narrowed it down to. But we can't get into Cuvee until 9pm so we may be looking elsewhere.

Sorry, should have said he would throw all over him on about 75% of all nights.

If you want some contrast I would go Stella!/Galatoire's or Commander's. Then you would have the whole new line/old line thing working for you

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm staying away from Galatoire's and Commander's, been there too many times. Just trying to try some new places.

Bayona or Cuvee?

If you had to choose one restuarant to eat at which one would you pick and why?

I'll be going to Stella the night after so I'm also looking for something a bit different than that.

Thanks

No he wasn't at the Hornet's game.

The Jordy show.

Posted by kevin foster rip on 11/25/08 at 3:56 pm
Should a local talk show host be required or make an effort on his own to actually watch a game that will probably be the topic on his show the next day.

This morning people were calling in talking about specific things from the Saints game last night and Jordy had no idea what anyone was talking about. All he could say was "it is what it is" or other generic responses. How does this make for good radio?

re: Ines just went off on Gary

Posted by kevin foster rip on 11/25/08 at 3:53 pm to
I love when Gary calls in 1st thing after a big win and talks about some 7th graders on rivals. This morning he was the 1st caller on Jordy's show after the monologue talking about the Saints game and it went like this.

"Hey Jordy three guys we signed for next year are High School All American's"

Jordy responds

"ok"

Boomer's autistic son could throw all over Jason David on most nights.

I sat in front of the three most annoying fans in the history of my sporting event career last night. It was 3 21 year old packer fans, 1 guy who was a wanker, and two girls who looked 12. I'm pretty sure they weren't from Wisconsin. Anyway before the game the wanker was cursing up a storm with stuff like "I can't wait until we are killing the Saints and this whole fricking dome shuts the frick up yea yea bitch" This went on until the 1st Saints score. Also once the section filled up around him and he noticed some pretty big dudes sitting around him he had little else to say. But the girls did not stop screaming the entire game even down 24. They were calling the packer fans down a row from me phags because they weren't yelling with them. Meanwhile they had the ball and they were down 24. At least the boy had the sense to shut the frick up, because he would have ended up with a beat down because of the disrespectful way he was acting. One of the older packer fans in front of us actually went talk to the kid at halftime to tell him to have some respect.
We will need a 20 win season with at least 10 in the SEC. Our schedule does appear to be pretty weak with the SEC down again this year. The OCC games against Xavier, Washington St, Texas A&M, and Utah will prove to be pivotal when it comes to selection sunday.

Regardless of that I really like what I see so far even against lesser competiton. The team plays very hard, the guards are handling well against pressure, Marcus is actually playing defense and Bo Spencer is really stepping up. It should be an interesting year and I feel we have a pretty good shot at getting to the dance.

It's also refreshing to see a coach actually play all his players instead of sticking to a 7 man rotation.

I just wanted to see you blow up again. I really have no clue as to any deal you've made in fantasy sports.

re: TDFL Update

You and Ron were about to do something?

What an unbalanced deal in which Ron gets fleeced and then tells us why it really was good for his team?

To tell you the truth I have had to neglect fantasy basketball a bit so far becuase of different things. So i really haven't had much time to analize my needs and what not. So i probably wouldn't have traded just b/c I'm not quite sure what I have and don't have. Plus half my team is injured so I can't really get a feel for what my team is really like, besides shitty.
