They hit a huge Bomb to answer Central and make it 8-6

Central makes a goal line stand

Catholic fumbles on the 5 and central returned it to da house

catholic had no answer for centrals passing game and got behind real quick

Catholic made an absolutely unreal amount of mistakes.

One was a fumble on the Central 2 after a pretty good Catholic drive, and some Central DB ran it all the way. Another was on a punt that was going to give Catholic great field position and the returner was going to let Central down it around their 35 or 40, but another Catholic player ran up and tried to scoop it up. He of course fumbled. That's about 21 points right there.

My son played last year so I saw all the games, but this is the 1st one I went to this season. From what I saw , they are much better this season.

But Catholic seemed to just get worse as it went. Didn't expect to see that.

Its the first time Ive been since I graduated..... times have definitely changed. #12 is legit. #2 was little but that little SOB hit like a truck. Central cant be stopped in the passing game... they pretty much do what they want on off. Def. created a lot of turnovers but Catholic had some dumb mistakes.

#2 is Josh Veals.

Nice crowd on hand, and a great performance by Central. The student section had too much fun tonight. haha.

The Acadiana loss is looking like the last striking blow to CHS in the Weiner era.

Havent been back in 4 years, but looks as if the program has gone downhill since that loss.

Most embarassing loss of the decade for catholic points wise.

Looks as if the DB's got worked today. The secondary has probably been the weakest position at CHS this decade. Its just so hard to establish a effective pass defense in high school because your DBs either have to be so talent, gotta have athletic backers, or you have to get a great pass rush.

My senior year we were fortunate enough to have 3 all state defensive linemen and were able to get pressure from our front 4 every play. That helped us out alot back there in coverage, but we were still weak over the middle, not to take a hit at out LBS they were solid high school lbers, but the only level you ever see lbers that are effective in pass coverage is at the PRO level. And thats were teams got us on our run to the semis.

Central wont lose our good players to Catholic and Redemptorist anymore with the new school system in place. Sid is a very good coach with very good assistants. Catholic doesnt look like they have the athletes of the past IMO
