One interesting scenario though would be if a player who has possession of the ball and whose momentum is carrying them out of bounds would then touch an opposing player who is standing out of bounds with the ball before they themselves were out of bounds.
My whole issue with the call was that Delly had possesion of the ball, and thompson didn't. Delly wasn't dribbling, or bobbling the ball, it was in his hands. If the ball had been loose, or being dribbled then touched by Thompson, then I would not have been confused as to why they were calling out of bounds. That is what my line of thinking is.

I hear you. And I'm not sure about the rule either, but everyone is saying that's the rule. If it was missed, we'll definitely hear about it before game 4.

I know possession is reviewable. Never argued that fact. What I argued was that I personally couldn't see on my TV off the bat that it was 100% touched by klay while he was out. The refs didn't even look at the full review before making the call

Well everyone is jumping all over me because I don't know the rule. Who knows all the fricking rules? Do the posters on here read the fricking NBA rule book and know all the fricking rules? Just because I played basketball for 30yrs doesn't mean I know every damn rule. I am not a damn official.....

It was a very anti-climatic ending to an amazing 4th quarter of Game 3 of probably the closest Finals ever.
