Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 2006 Catholic team would beat this one handily.

Didn't they have like 14 D1 athletes? I believe they lost in the 5A semis that year.

That team was stacked. Lost to Acadiana in the semis by one point. They should have gone to the dome. A shame.

Catholic lost to Acadiana in 06. West Monroe lost in the second rounds in both 06 and 07.

ETA: Nm you were thinking about 09.

Which is funny because in 09 Acadiana had a big lead against Catholic in the first half, like 28 points. They fumbled the ball away 5 times in the second half and lost 35-28. That was a horrible game to listen to. I thought Bitter was going to have to call one of those suicide hotlines.

7-0 Rummel

Rummel had the ball in the redzone, but CHS backs them up and Rummel will have to punt

I was on all 3 of these teams.

2005 Lost at West Monroe - Will Blackwell slaughtered our line
2006 Lost at Acadiana - This is the team that was absolutely stacked. Starter (Ryan Lewis) and backup (DJ Ponder) QB went on to D1 schools, Matt Broha and Jason Peters were DEs, Jeremy Stewart at RB/CB, Adam Bertrand at OT (Scholarship to ULMonroe). This team was absolutely loaded, shame we couldn't win it all. Frickin spin offense.
2007 Got single handedly beat by Eddie Lacy at Duchtown

Too much speed on defense for Rummel.
